Recently as I worked with a client of mine, what came to me was the pros and cons of conveyed simply by the numbers of 1, 2 and 3 and how they are really super powers to leverage when we are stepping into a next stage and thought I'd share it with you

The number 1 conveys the power about simplicity and focus.

For example, if we are trying to do 10 different things in a day, our mind switches too much and we can get what looks like no-where. And in order to step into our next stage,  we need to create space for the new thing we want to create where we have some Undivided attention.  Even if its just 1-2 hours a week or 20 minutes a day of uninterruptible time. 

The power that the number 2 conveys is about we are no longer alone

In the business world, whether we are a solo business owner or busy corporate leader, we can feel very alone and not sure who to confide in or mastermind with.  

When we are stepping into our next stage, it is important that we leverage the power of 2 and have someone we can confide in and be an objective sounding board, because it will keep us moving going. 

Thirdly, when we are stepping into our next stage in business, there are 3 things to keep firmly in mind.  All three are important like a 3 legged chair to sit on.  If you miss out on one of these 3, it will be a leaned-over chair-- and it just wont provide a solid foundation.

The 1st of the 3 legs is your ideal client.  I am not talking complete avatar writeups but I am talking about being clear about the problem that they face and that you can help solve.  Those people are on a journey, facing a challenge and wanting to be successful. Being clear on that person, their journey and their challenge(s) is key. 

The 2nd of the 3 legs is your solution to their challenge -- what can you uniquely provide on their journey that would be of value and help them to face that challenge and be successful.  

And the 3rd and final leg  about you and your  joys -- what do you love doing? If you are good at something and love doing it, it will show in the work that you deliver.   On the other hand, if we choose strategies to step out that are not our joy, or that we are skilled at, it will no doubt impact our delivery.   That's why its really important to take into consideration and celebrate our uniqueness. 

Here's a recap of the Super Powers of 1, 2 and 3: 

  • When we leverage the power of 3, and have 3 strong legs of that 3 legged chair, (your ideal client, your solution, your joys).  and we have a stable foundation to grow from.

  • When we leverage the power of 2, we dont feel alone and have an objective sounding board to bounce things off of so we keep moving forward. 

  • And lastly, when we leverage the power of 1, we leverage the power of simplicity and focus and from there we can create the space for what we are wanting to step into. 

I have one question for you:   Which of the 3 superpowers resonated most with you?  that is the power conveyed by the number 1, 2 or 3?

I'd encourage you to take a minute to reflect on that and make a decision to take a step forward.
